SNAP Recap (Fail)

Well, I got home from SNAP! Conference over a week ago. And no recap ever made it up to the blog. I wish I had a better excuse, but the honest truth was–school consumed me as soon as I returned. With school ending for the semester in a few short weeks, life is pretty darn crazy right now.

So, this is what I’ve got…I learned a ton, laughed a ton, and made some great connections. These girls were the best roomies I could have asked for!

I finally got to squeeze Carrie, one of my dearest bloggy/shop owner friends!

Every night was spent giggling and chatting way too late. The last night was spent with these AWESOME ladies!

Obviously, it was the people that I met that made a huge impact. I took a notebook full of notes though and got a lot from the sessions!

Mother’s Day Deadlines

Mother’s Day is right around the corner! Due to a crazy last few weeks of school, I’m making my Mother’s Day (May 13th) ordering deadline earlier than normal.

You have until May 1st to order for Mother’s Day! If you want a custom order for a special lady in your life, I would order asap so I have enough time to execute your request.

2 Days

In 2 days, I’ll be off to SNAP! Conference. (At 4 AM to be exact.) To say I’m excited would be a huge understatement. Old friends. New friends. Learning. Sharing. Laughing. I’m ready for all of it.

I get to room with Amy, Elizabeth, and Jacqui. We’ll be united once again and I couldn’t ask for better roomies. I get to hug Alissa, Heather, and so many other friends again. And, I get to squeeze Carrie for the first time. She’s become such a wonderful friend (my inbox *may* be full of texts with her) and I’m thrilled to get to have some time together.

Of course, I’ll be missing Nicole, Kristen, Katie, and Alison as well. So sorry to all my friends who can’t make it!

Pssst…I’m bringing some jewelry along in case you want to see things or shop in person. I’m taking last minute requests if you have any! You can tweet me if you want to come by my room or meet up to shop.

Custom Order: A Crystal Cluster

I recently did a custom order for a fellow shop owner. She had a request for a crystal ring. While it’s not what I normally do, I love the opportunity to work in Swarovski crystals! (Have you seen all the AMAZING colors?!)

The result was this fun, sparkly, vintage-looking green, pink, and lavender crystal ring with one of the popular sterling scroll bands. It’s just the right mix of sparkle and casual.
